Lack of Intelligence of Government Advisors

Absolutely not, ask JohnD, he may refresh your memory,,,,,,,,,,,,,:rolleyes:
John D, if you're there, do you recall me ever posting some comment along the lines of "Mottie doesn't care"?
You are allowed to use the search function if you wish, trazor appears to not understand how it works.

In fact, let's open the question to anyone.
Does anyone recall me making such a comment?

Shall we start a poll? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It, along with my reply were removed very quickly, thus few if any would have seen it.( the search function will not find deleted posts)

Your mocking tone does not alter what happened, but you may try to divert what I said.

Again, I did not make your post up

Did you know that some posters just ignore requests to repost something they claim to have posted but was ignored.
Yes.
Oh, look; a straight answer rather than another question.

You probably do.
Now, instead of wondering, why not repost that which you claim was ignored.
Have a look yourself.
Compare the post and what you quoted.

While you're at it, please confirm that trazors account of 'the JohnD tactic' agrees with yours.
I confirm it does.
Oh, look; another straight answer instead of another question.

And you think my English is below par.
You've just posted a comment which states absolutely nothing short of gobbledygook.

Why not just comply with a polite request and repost the bit of your comment which you believe was ignored, as I've requested numerous times.

So you confirm trazors claim that I posted some comment, which was deleted by JohnD for some unfathomable reason?
And you refer to this as JohnD's tactic?

I can imagine conversations outside pubs during the Blitz ... "it's an outrage, I work all day and then can't get a pint! the near bomb fell over 5 miles away, why can't my pub open!!!"

Pubs were open during the Blitz, although a direct hit would naturally hasten 'last orders'.

Is it me, or are the other two current participants having some memory aberration?

Sorry, fillyboy, you just joined the conversation while I was typing my comment.
You weren't included in the "two current participants"

And you think my English is below par.
You've just posted a comment which states absolutely nothing short of gobbledygook.
It makes perfect sense so that confirms it is you who lacks understanding.

You quoted my post. Just look and see the bit you omitted.

It is you.
Then as it is me, that is suffering from memory aberrations, kindly do me the favour of refreshing my memory and repost the bit that you think I failed to respond to, as you have been politely requested to do numerous times.

I'm gobsmacked at the lack of intelligence displayed by government advisors.
Just watching the news, and a government advisor, in his comment about crowded beaches last summer, he claimed that there was no evidence to suggest that crowded beaches caused a surge in Covid infections.

let’s try this one more time. Having looked at the Covid infection rate does it now appear that the government advisor was actually correct?

that being: that there is no evidence to suggest crowded beaches cause a surge in Covid cases.

Thing is, there is not enough data. While a crowded beach may look crazy, on a national scale it is probably not going to cause a spike - that doesn't mean some people may have spread covid that day, and some people may have died as a result. But 5000 people on a beach for one day is not the same as 10 million people in schools everyday, or people in pubs, hairdressers etc. for hours at a time.
