Lack of Intelligence of Government Advisors

Demo's and beaches etc needn't show any effect at all for varying lengths of time. Schools opening needn't either.

This wave started on the basis of younger age groups becoming infected and it working it's way up the age groups. We hear about deaths and cases. The missing part is age groups of the infected. This gets around some having symptoms, some needing hospital and etc. The beeb mentioned this was going on relatively ages ago. The surveillance reports also show it.

So say 1m geriatrics had a beach party and covid was around. We would soon here about it. Say it was 1m 10year olds - unless they were tested we wouldn't hear anything at all.

Actually I wonder what they are going to do about it. 10 to 19ear old has dropped down a fair amount, 20 to 29 too but not much. 30 to 39 year old show more people at the moment. Then it drops with age. It's interesting that when the figures started showing this young women were the leaders. Similar men then more or less caught up. ;) maybe the answer is to ban hen parties.

At least reporting daily infections as they are now is a better indication of what is going on but it's a fact that younger are still numerically carrying more infection around with them even now but it's not so marked as it has been. It's spread up the age groups.

My link to Bournemouth which was shown in the news clip was NOT the only beach nor the only day in question.
Edited - NOT

Is a 'surge' - the word used - the same as a 'spike' - your word -?

This gives an idea of what goes on but gets more cramped as numbers go up
