Hurrah for freedom day!

More vaccinated people than unvaccinated people are currently dying lol.
Even the PHE have stated that.
That would be because a greater number of the populous are vaccinated.

Numbers are still impressive though, in that 80% less are dying due to being vaccinated. Serious illness form the virus is way down also.

EDIT: Lol.

but if you know that being double-jabbed cuts your chances of being hospitalised by more than 90%; and your chance of dying by even more, you would be a fool to reject it.
My choice not yours...

But would you please show us independent proof of that 90% figure?

do you think the manufacturers are lying?
if so, what is now keeping people alive?

Have you visited a dentist during the pandemic?
No, but the dentist wore a mask before.

I just thought it illogical - because it is - that your wife is told to still wear a mask at work except if she is alone in the room. Then presumably someone else might be alone in the room.

What 'official' figures do you believe?

After all it's not the manufacturers that keep count, it's the ONS...

Care to tell us the difference between 'dying of covid' or 'dying with covid'?

The ONS goes with the latter and is thus meaningless!

Have you worked out what I do for a job yet ?
Edit lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

What figures are you referring to ? lol lol lol lol lol
There was a direct correlation between Covid cases and deaths. As cases rose, so did deaths. This has now been reversed. This is what you were alluding to in post #4 and I was agreeing with you. But it ignores the fact that the number of people in hospital is disproportionately weighed in favour of unvaccinated people. It's your choice if you have the vaccine or not. Just tell people that. No need to make things up to try and defend yourself. It's nobody's business but yours.

What, again?

We use the term "due to COVID-19" or "due to Influenza and Pneumonia" when referring only to deaths where that illness was recorded as the underlying cause of death. We use the term "involving COVID-19" or "involving Influenza and Pneumonia" when referring to deaths that had that illness mentioned anywhere on the death certificate, whether as an underlying cause or not.

"Conclusion Vaccination with either one dose of BNT162b2 or ChAdOx1-S was associated with a significant reduction in symptomatic covid-19 in older adults, and with further protection against severe disease. Both vaccines showed similar effects. Protection was maintained for the duration of follow-up (>6 weeks). A second dose of BNT162b2 was associated with further protection against symptomatic disease. A clear effect of the vaccines against the B.1.1.7 variant was found."

I have a feeling that the conclusion of 'significant reduction in symptomatic covid-19 in older adults' doesn't equate to the 90% claim

"Vaccine effectiveness was therefore compared with the baseline post-vaccination period. Vaccine effects were noted 10 to 13 days after vaccination, reaching a vaccine effectiveness of 70% (95% confidence interval 59% to 78%), then plateauing. From 14 days after the second dose a vaccination effectiveness of 89% (85% to 93%) was found compared with the increased baseline risk."

What have I made up ?

What, again?
Well sadly the ignorant don't get it...

So we'll try again shall we..

Almost everyone tends to harbour the flu virus, Indigenous Amazonians excepted...

Should it go on your death certificate if you die of cancer?

Which doesn't cover the 90% claim given the conclusion...

But hey you pick out whatever figures you like if it makes you feel better :)

People can make their own judgement, it is there for everyone to read.

Did you agree with any of it. What about this bit, "This study provides early evidence that vaccination against covid-19 is having an important effect in England. We found a clear effect from the first dose of the BNT162b2 and ChAdOx1-S vaccines, and, in particular, a large effect of a single dose against severe outcomes of covid-19 related hospital admissions and mortality...."
