This is dismissed outright - yet it would need no surgery nor years of counselling; merely the bank to enter one number on my record. It would take less than a minute.

I don't see this as an issue of whether a man/woman can change to a woman/man? Agree with it or not I say let them do what they want. The issue really is whether sport can be fairly played by somebody that has gone through a change. Somebody born and fully grown with high levels of testosterone will generally grow bigger and stronger than one without. This doesn't just go away after a change so there will be a period when that person has an advantage.
