That's exactly what you are doing. Giving credence to bits of a website you want to make your point but ignoring other bits you presumably don't agree with. I had the same thing yesterday, someone saying "it must be true" because it was Public Health Scotland. When asked if they agreed what else PHS said - no answer.

I am arguing with mask zealots about what they should be doing if they believe what they are demanding - like arguing with religious zealots who ignore some parts of their holy book; it doesn't mean I believe in any of it.

When you call someone a Tory, or even worse, Tory scum, you would not consider for one millisecond that they would ever do anything un-Tory at any time in their lives, would you? However, being a communist informs everything a person does; it would be impossible for a true communist believer to do anything that compromises their beliefs. The actions of the "Conservative" party have been similar to those of communist regimes for the last 18 months (removing peoples' freedom and suppressing opposition) so it is obvious they have commies in their ranks. Susan Michie is very vociferously anti-conservative in her publicised views, and recently she stated that she wants everybody to wear masks forever. What sort of loony would want that?

To be fair, Andy probably does ask his Doctor, Landlord and milkman if they are now or have ever been a member of the Communist party.

I know whereof I speak, and I know many people who think of themselves as commies or socialists, and I have known such people since the 1970s. They are a good laugh with their green army jackets and Che Guevara t-shirts. Some were like that years ago but are now very sensible and settled down, but still can be roused to anti-Thatcher rants . Total hypocrites, but a good laugh!

In your view the government are so clueless that they cannot differentiate between clinical psychology advice from a clinical psychologist, and political advice from a clinical psychologist?.
So, do they also ask the political strategists for their advice on clinical psychology?
