same as the rush to water meters. When we had 6 people at home using water they would not entertain removing it. Now there’s only 3 of us and the usage works out a fair bit cheaper than an unmetered bill they’re asking me if I want it taken away. F@kin jokers.That will rely on lots of customers having Smart Meters which actually work as Smart Meters, in the rush to install many were not able to be used Smart once you changed supplier. I am in that situation and despite pestering each subsequent supplier to sort my meters, they have been incompatible for several years. It seems the rush to Smart Meters was just that - once a Smart Meter was in, that was all that mattered.
