Is Time Travel Possible?

if you look at my later post number 2618 off this thread that i answer in 2031 i gave a full explanation

<snort> I thank you & I will shamelessly steal your comedy gold in any of the many future or past instances I raise this paradox.

I just popped forwards a bit and had a look.
This thread has turned to Nazis.
And Hummy is up to 200 posts a day.

That proof is bunkum.
If you can perceive infinity,
You can't. The human mind has no ability to do that.
then you can perceive the concept that time is infinite, both in the past & in the future.
Not proven.
There was no beginning & there will be no end to time.

It is inconceivable to imagine that in the infinity of time that is the future, that at one point the ability to time travel will not be discovered, that is if it is indeed possible.
As stated by an earlier response energy is not infinite and entropy rules all. Therefore if there had been an infinite period before now then all energy would have decayed to background radiation. It hasn't so you're wrong.
It is equally inconceivable that if/when time travel exists, nobody from the infinite future will travel back to the infinite past & reveal the secrets of time travel.
Your inability to conceive of something proves nothing. ;)

Life does not have to be infinite, nor can it be. If life or intelligence is not infinite then your theory is invalid.
On the basis that we don't enjoy the ability to time travel at this point in time, then it can be concluded that time travel isn't actually possible.
Unless time travel is only possible after some discovery like in the future war. You have failed to control for all options.
But wait. There is one & only one other possible reason, accepted by free thinkers, why we don't currently enjoy the ability to time travel.

Can you think what it is???
Nope, please share the brilliance of your observation with the class.

For what it's worth I don't think traveling back in time is possible, but your attempt at proof need snore work.

Does the Tardis have a toilet on board? or does Dr Who just travel back in time to when he didn't need a sh*t?.

The universe does not have an infinite life.

One day, billions of years into the future, all the Stars will burn out , and all remaining energy will have dispersed evenly through out the universe.
At this point time will stop, as nothing will move, and total darkness will ensue.
It’s worse than that.

if you buy in to proton decay theory, all matter will eventually evaporate and the only chance of a restart will be the many black holes colliding and spewing Hawking radiation which might create a little more.

You lost it with your very first words "Its already possible to look back in time", it isn't, they can't & don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Next time you watch a sunset, just think it already happened 8 minutes ago. The version you are seeing was back in time by just over 8 mins
