Hi,

I had the original hive and the hub packed in. So when I saw the new one on a black Friday deal jumped at it for £110.

I replace everything but now hive cannot control the boiler. I have changed any wiring. But I have noticed the new receiver has a hot water button.

I attach the pic of the wiring that was working with my only hive. I have reconnected the blue wire that came off when taking the pic.

do you have a combi boiler ? if yes you have the wrong hive but can be adapted with wiring changes, the HW button means you have a dual channel hive for systems with a HW cylinder, that link between L&1 should not be there on a dual channel hive

Thanks so I just remove the brown jumper cable?
nope you need a N&L and the wire that was in 3 now goes to 4 all other wiring is removed , havent a clue what the grey wire in 2 goes to, make sure you insulate all the removed wires as they may be live and tidy that wiring up it is a disgrace
