Was listening to a debate last night and the recurring question was "why did Hamas do what they did when they knew what the response would be".
Everyone was in agreement that Iran did not like the way things were going with Israel making deals all over the region. Hamas knew the impact it would have on Palestinians. The don't give a toss.

And yet somehow the IRA were somehow persuaded to be included in talks, and now life in NI is although not perfect far better than before...

Why does the Israel state and it's illegal settlers do what they do when they knew what the response would eventually be?

Ultimately they gave up their arms. Is that on the cards with Hamas? I do hope so...

The solution is simple...
Give the Palestinians their own state and stop the state of Israel seizing Palestinian land...
Return to the 1967 borders and get all sides to recognise the rights of the respective countries/populations to exist...
So do I...
But they have to have the hope that their people can have a better life...

Hamas have a stated aim to destroy all Jews and take over all of Israel as their own. Get them to have a think about that bit first and let us know how you get on.

Both sides need to put their weapons down and start talking.
