Hi everyone,
I am currently wiring Grade A fire alarm system in youth club, we have disabled toilets with shower, so my question is what sensor would be best in there to prevent false alarms with steam from it. And the second thing is it is not possible to give the detector 500mm clearance from wall and light fitting, any suggestion on that ?

Not my area of knowledge, but I believe that optical, rather than ionizing units are more forgiving- that said, the following says that they are not suitable for showers.
