Kitchen Workers' Deaths

No comparison.
The Palestinians are victims not perpetrators
I’ve heard aid workers in Gaza say the people there they meet don’t support Hamas, and blame Hamas for bringing this massacre onto Gaza.

Hamas is very unpopular in Gaza. Not Boris Johnson bad but close. They have dropped to Liz truss levels at times, but every time Israel shells Gaza (every six months or so) they get a boost.

I think it obtuse that the 'lets ban weapons to Israel' would not stand up and protect them against Hezbollah, Iran and Iraq plus all the other Stan types whose stated objective is the annihilation of Jews and Israel.
Jeremy Corbyn and many of his followers actively support Iran and Putin
Corbyn literally said “ Hamas and Hezbollah are our friends”

And then they moan about being falsely accused of AS.

But to keep it in context, I’m sure most on the left find Hamas terrorism and Israel bombing of Gaza both wrong.

Blair talked about doing a deal with 'our friend's' in Sinn Fein...

That didn't work out too bad did it ;)

Yep that pace agreement worked so well didn't it. Lets not talk or mention the sectarian and organised crime gangs working under cover of religious bigotry , either side by the way.

You do realise that reference from Ella was regarding NI don't you? I don't think the NI tolerates rapey Muslims do you?

He never talked about “our friends”

Blair was leader, he had power to negotiate a deal

Corbyn was never in any position to do anything, he just went along to marches and speeches mixing with Hanas terrorists.

He did, and famously first shook hands with Gerry Adams...

As Liz later did with McGuinness...

Amazing what respect about how to deal with a supposedly insolvable problem can achieve ;)

All Corbyn really did was mention that most things relating to say the PLO etc were settled via talks. An early critisism of him was talking to the PLO. Well what did settle the PLO problem - talks. What eventually settled Irish problems - talks. Sometimes things don't work out entirely as desired. Eg Afghan but talks did get things were they currently are and guess what - methods of having further talks are being established.

In practice geopolitics gets thrown in. That doesn't mean that talks do not eventually sort things out. You might say it delays them but may be needed before talks are even possible.

Except, talks haven't settled any of those things.

They created the illusion of settlements and unsustainable ones.

Conflict in Northern Ireland bubbles away under the surface and on the streets, we just don't hear about it, and I suspect it will kick off worse once again since one side got sold up the river by Bliar and then the Tories following brexit. Like all things involving New Labour, it was fool's gold and the sheen soon wears off.

If you imagine that Palestine is a settled situation then I'm guessing you've been living under a rock. There isn't any talking to be done by two sides who hate each other this much. There will either be an uneasy peace that a greater power will have to put resources into enforcing, which will disappear once that policing role is withdrawn, or there will be a decisive conflict with a winner and loser - either in slow motion over years or more quickly. We are currently seeing the latter. The weaker side are now demanding a cease fire, after their own incursions - it is a tactic and part of their own desire to win.

Afghanistan IS settled. Because one side basically won and the other fked off.

In the realist world of international relations, your liberal fantasies aren't worth much.

One side did not win.
Tell that to the Taliban...

And to the women of Afghanistan...

Oh, and while you're about it can you tell us why you think that the chances of members of Afghan special forces of coming to UK have been effectively reduced to zero by the veto powers of UK special forces who they fought alongside?
