But they aren't. Don't worry about it.
stop being so utterly ridiculous - from the perspective of the solar panels they will get less light, so as from the perspective of the earth the sun will not be as bright

But only a smidgen. About 0.6% as far as I can tell.

People are aware that this research funding is on modeling, not actual interventions?

It's almost as if they're spending this money to think about the impact and risk of these measures rather than relying on back-of-fag-packet guesses on internet message boards.

No mention of the potential damage caused by spraying the chemicals.

That would be helpful.

If only they were doing some research into that!

Although to be honest there's already loads of research papers examining the likely effect of that.

I can’t wait for a lung full of sulphur dioxide in the morning!!

2024 there was 2000 TWh of solar generation
0.6% of that is 12,000,000 MWh
(thats the best part of a months UK electric consumption

That's a big smidgen
You really think they are planning to affect the whole world, all at once, all the time? Don't be silly.

See above. Although mostly they focus on the improvements from moving away from coal and improved regulations on shipping fuel.

That's what the research will no doubt cover. It'll be good to find out the downsides as well as the benefits.

The net zero train is losing traction
absolutely not, there is a lot of development towards renewable energy and carbon neutral

if the UK doesnt push forward it will get left behind -theres a big opportunity now for Europe including UK to take the lead now that theres an orange idiot in power in the states

The whole electric future is not possible, people are realising
how do you come to that conclusion?

Europe are movin gahead with the move to heat pump technology
