It's amazing how the Aliens went from being the ancient worlds Craigslist man-with-a-flying-van and appearing in rocket powered thrones, but have gotten so shy in recent centuries no one can even get a photo of them.

It's shockingly similar to the way that you don't see large scale miracles anymore.

Given our rapidly advancing technology, if aliens had the capacity for a similar rapidly advancing technology, and given that they were so far more advanced than us several thousand years ago, they'd be exploring a different universe by now.
