I think we all appreciate that there are some total nutters around, making wild, unsubstantiated claims - the simple trick, is to differentiate the nutters, from the genuine reports .

From the standpoint that no aliens have visited Earth, then ANYONE claiming they have seen an alien or alien spacecraft is either nuts, having a hallucinogenic episode or is saying it for publicity or financial gain.
