The price of used EVs make them very attractive.

They will also be able to do very quick full battery swaps, they already do it in Norway. What I will say in ref to your #94 post is I don't expect the charging thing (in terms of time) to remain an issue longer term, it's always being improved upon. I think I saw on a tv prog they're already working on batteries and recharging tech that will mean going from near empty to full in <5 mins is possible.

It does have some weight. I take a lot of taxis, and the EV ones leave me feeling carsick. Just my anecdotal experience. And I noticed it before reading that it's actually a thing, so no biasThe interesting point for me in that article is that passengers anticipate acceleration from the engine noise.
The driver is not affected much as they have a steering wheel to hold on to but it can affect the passengers.
This is partly why, even if my current ICE vehicle gives up soon, I will likely buy another ICE vehicle. Then, by the time I next change, much of the existing issues will be resolved.

Rubbish. Your just trying to sound like the dogs *******s of negotiators...Paying cash with just the minimum amount of H/P (£3k) to take advantage of the additional £2k towards the deposit from the manufacturer. I’ll pay it off after I’ve made a couple of payments.
If that’s what pleases you, carry on.Rubbish. Your just trying to sound like the dogs *******s of negotiators...

Thanks, just an observation, nothing personal. I won't keep going on about it though. If that’s what pleases you, carry on.

Correct, keep up.@Mottie Rule number one of this forum: as there are some members with only 3 working neurons, anything you say will need to be backed up by hard evidence, even your own opinions.
DO NOT forget this again!
Having driven one set at regen level 3, there’s hardly any need to touch the brakes at all when stopping, such is the force of the drag. Level 1 is much gentler but obviously doesn’t charge as much. There is an auto setting too where the car decides based on your driving style.Reading reviews for the car we are looking at, a few reviewers have commented that if the regen is set too high, there’s a bit too much harshness when taking your foot off the throttle and onto the brake. It has settings 1,2,3 and auto. They recommend leaving it in auto. The driver is not affected much as they have a steering wheel to hold on to but it can affect the passengers.
