Trouble is, there’s some on here that have no sense of guilt, shame or sorrow about our successive governments letting thousands and thousands and thousands of undocumented migrants to just be taxied in to the country and then to be able to move around freely.
I didn't vote for 'em, you did, so why would i have any guilt?.

what an arrogant **** he was in continuously talking over her -

He's not giving her time to complete her train of thought. It looks awful. Although, having said that, this is what right wing interviewers do all the time and they get applauded for "destroying" people.

On the BBC website and in the TV news today is an item showing concern about dogs being imported from abroad. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cpwq40vjw8lo

"The RSPCA's major concern is these dogs are essentially ticking time bombs - coming over, not being health tested," Mr Bowles said."Diseases are now coming in through these dogs. They're affecting not just the dogs that are being imported, they could also affect the dogs already in this country and their owners".

There is also concern that their behaviour can change in an instant and they can become aggressive. Their behavioural history is unknown. The RSPCA said it’s no better than a Deliveroo for dogs.

The same could be said about the RNLI and the Border force with 'asylum seekers'.

If the RSPCA can rightly show concern about unchecked dogs coming from abroad, why do some in this country and particularly in this forum get annoyed about people who are showing similar concern about all those unchecked humans coming over on rubber dinghy’s?

An interesting article with a couple of quotes below:

The depiction of enemies as subhuman dates as far back as ancient China, Egypt and Mesopotamia, author David Livingstone Smith told NPR. It re-emerges in the 18th century, when white Europeans "modestly placed themselves at the very pinnacle" of a hierarchy, with sub-Saharan Africans and Native Americans mostly seen as "soulless animals". This "dramatic dehumanisation" enabled "great atrocities" against marginalised groups.

"Once someone is dehumanised", we "deny them the consideration, compassion and empathy" that we would usually give other human beings, relaxing our "instinctive aversion" to "aggression and violence" towards our fellow humans.
