I know. I am the complete package and probably why there are some on here that take offence at me, it isn't that they disagree with me it is just the fact of me being above them in ther social standing and looks dept.

I was actually talking about myself. How did you not get that. Reported.

Various banks have been refusing to release large amounts of cash for years now, for various reasons including:
- To prevent vulnerable customers being scammed.
- They might not have enough cash in the branch without prior warning.
- To make crime more difficult.

With a little forward planning by this guy, they would have been able to release the cash. They should make their customers more aware of this.

There was no need for this guy to be so abusive towards the staff. Any decent person would have just found out what was needed, and sorted it out, instead of being extremely rude.

They're a bank. Obviously a Mickey Mouse one, but a bank nonetheless. A bona fide customer should be able to withdraw a smallish amount (£2500 isn't a lot these days) without notice or having to jump through hoops. It's all about the push to abolish cash and state control of every aspect of our lives. The sheeple don't see it.

You see it as control, like many, I see it as something which my own control of my money - dramatically easier. I for one, despite making several payments per day, cannot remember the last time I paid in cash, for anything. Thats why banks are disappearing from the high street, and banking moved to offices. Wanting £2.5K in untraceable cash, is an unusual request, so rightfully should set alarm bells ringing. All they are doing, is protecting everyone's money from potential scams.

For me in my area, cash usually returns a good discount and definitely removes at least the 20% VAT from the bottom line. Why pay more than necessary.

No its the other way around - banks have pushed people to go on line and then the banks close - its the plan all along.

One of the benefits of being really good looking is been able to deal with female bankers, I would have been able to just draw it out without any hassle. I know it isn't fair but that's life and women for you.
Being as awesome as you are, I suspect if you go in asking to withdraw £10k, they give you your £10k and then another £10k from their general coffers just because you're so great and awesome.

Took me an hour to get payment authorised when buying a car .
£5k , my daughter was with the seller as it was delivered to her home . Bank asked me how I knew I was talking to my daughter and not a scammer .
