FCU Wiring/Spur

But what has been done it totally correct and conforms to regs and many would say the correct way.
 
@securespark - do you mean that white cable going to the shed? its quite thick. I need to check the rating of the wire.
Yes. For 13A, the flex should be a minimum of 1.25mm².

This size is often not available at wholesalers, so 1.5 is used.
 
But that's not spurring off a spur, is it?
I don't mean 2 from the same socket....

From the ring main to an fcu then from the supply side to another fcu? It is isn't it?

In this case the boiler was from the load side so it's ok.

@securespark - I checked the white flex wire going into the shed…could barely read it but it says g 1.5mm 300/500 V. That should be ok for 13A right?

@ SUNRAY - thanks for your advice. As the supply is coming from one of the kitchen sockets, to do it your way would have required chasing and ripping out units etc…which is perhaps why it was done the way my diagram showed. This is why I posted to see if it’s done correctly or not…because initially there was only 1 boiler 3A fcu for the boiler and that was used to supply the shed…until saniflo toilet was installed…then I saw the new 13A fcu installed next to the 3A boiler fcu.
 
There seems to be confusion here.

As I understand it the original installation was a ring circuit with a spur from a socket to a FCU for the boiler.

The additional cable was added for the shed. I don't think we know how that was wired.


Then another FCU was added which feeds the shed cable and the boiler FCU.

The only part of that which may not have complied with reg's is in blue.

What may have muddied the water has been my suggestion that I would have preferred to add the shed spur and FCU as a new spur at the socket on the ring, thereby having 2 spurs at the same socket on the ring.

@pete01 - The supply came from one of the kitchen sockets into the 13A fcu. What left from that 13A fcu is two cables, one going to the shed, and the other going into another 3A fcu (boiler one)….obviously that supplies the boiler.

@ SUNRAY - for the blue part, do you mean how the shed cable was wired inside the 13A fcu?
