If they announced it in a speech in front of a lot of angry people baying for blood, because they had been told for weeks that their elected leader has had the election stolen from him and that those alleged thieves were all in a building down the road and that they should march on that building and fight like hell - then yes.

I remember the day and the BBC's coverage. We had had months of BLM riots in Britain just prior. The BBC (that's the British Broadcasting Corporation) devoted more time to the 2 hours of trouble at Capitol Hill in America than they had to all the months of BLM trouble in Britain.

I'm glad it has come out in the wash. It was said at the time that the rioting was instigated by Antifa troublemakers. That has been glossed over but it too will come out in the wash.
