Shows how untrustworthy the BBC are

I am just wanting justice to be done for what the BBC has done
the BBC gave the impression Trump incited violence.

Trump did incite violence.

All they’ve done is point out the truth, if you listened to his rambling speech it’s as clear as a summers day

No it wasn't, it was carefully cut to make it sound that way.

Everyone calls this an error, trying to play it down.

You don't accidentally splice those 2 videos in error.

It was blatantly done, to make Trump look even worse than he is.
But Trump did incite violence, congressional hearings, courts, reports, investigations have stated that is the case.

He spent a lot of the speech claiming the election had been stolen from him and people need to fight go restore democracy.

So how did it make anything worse.

He didn't say go and storm capitol hill though did he? He said fight to restore democracy, no different from unions telling junior doctors to fight for higher wages.

The Jan 6th speech did incite violence.

7 Republicans even voted to convict him.

A majority of senators voted to convict former President Donald Trump on an impeachment charge of inciting an insurrection

You don’t have to state something explicitly to incite violence.

If you listened to the whole rambling hour of the speech, there’s no other conclusion to be made.

Yes I am not disputing that, but it was a 55 to 45 vote for the motion to be dissmissed, you just choose to go along with the minority vote based upon your bias

Have a look at some of the Republicans who voted to dismiss.

"We need to heal division" - type reasons.

Not, "He didn't".

Politicing and tribalism, pure and simple.

I hope he makes a point to the BBC, there will have been some suckered into this false reporting and fake news that will indeed have damaged his reputation. Some may not have an opinion but the fact of the matter is he is making a stand for bad journalism, something that the BBC are famous for

I agree to a point, but it really is a technicality.

Just a strap across bottom of the clip saying "edited for brevity".

They could have just reported the truth and let people make up their own mind

Most people had done that, way before the panorama program.

The general consensus world wide was that he had invited violence.

And remember he never asked for it to stop

'BBC determined to fight'.

By the BBC's own logic, that is a threat of violence and the plod should be brought in.
Depends what context?

If they announced it in a speech in front of a lot of angry people baying for blood, because they had been told for weeks that their elected leader has had the election stolen from him and that those alleged thieves were all in a building down the road and that they should march on that building and fight like hell - then yes.

But that is the whole point. People will have made up their own mind on him, those that hadn't were swayed into believing that he had incited violence
