I had an eBay scammer try it on with me. It was for something he sent somebody to collect for him. In those instances, there is no refund if it’s faulty or has bits missing as you or your agent are deemed to have checked that on collection. He still complained. EBay told me to give him a refund, I told them no and reminded them of their own rules. In the end, eBay told him to return the item to me, they would repay him and I could keep the money he paid me as well as the item. He never bothered returning it. It seems that eBay will bend over backwards to help a buyer, not a seller.

I sold my laser tracking gauge on eBay and it was collection only. The buyer paid straight away and sent his disabled son down to collect (he also came with his mum). He asked if I could help load it onto the van. Neither of them would get out of the van and come into the workshop (they both acted as if they didn’t understand English) to get the item. It wasn't exactly heavy so I carried it out and loaded it into the van. I showed them it working (laser beam). Off they went. yes it is, but a baritone Uke which is really a guitar but this one is stunning, I dont like the high pitch of a normal uke so I got the baritone. I can play that as. it is just a guitar as far as the notes go, it is beautiful, solid Koa wood and sunburnt.

This is what the ebay buyer protection fee is for. They don't take the money from you. This is why there has been such a rise in the number of scammers buying on ebay.

It is a limited run so will increase in value, very difficult to get hold of. It is electro accoustic so I can plug in to an amp. I just cant wait. I wont sleep tonight
