Diynot summer party

Of course. I'm in your head.
I know what you're going to say next.

It’s a totally different field to domestic gas.

Thanks. I hadn't realised that. I suppose, I've only ever seen the domestic side being discussed.

It's similar sometimes on the main CH forum for us laypeople. Many of the gas engineers don't seem to like to give out some of the more technical information which they clearly know.

I’m doing my commercial training later this year.

Some gas engineers value the knowledge they have earned.

Hope it goes well. Is there any particular reason why you are branching out.

I suppose everyone's different when it comes to knowledge. I am happy to explain law to anyone who is interested, from first principles upwards.

Funnily enough, I have just checked a couple of the questions I used to ask about boilers on Google AI, and the answers are actually really helpful. That feature wasn't around when I was doing my main research back in 2022. Things like why is a fan flue more efficient than a traditional balanced flue. Now, if only I can get that wiring diagram for multiple zones on an Intergas boiler!

Richard at the intergas shop will be able to help. He’s very knowledgeable.

It’s not overly complicated, I can wire it all up, I just can’t draw it out.

I wasn't having a go at you. It was a joke against myself. Eventually, I found out everything I wanted to know about boilers. The only exception is that I could never get my head around those particular Intergas diagrams.

I didn’t take it as a go at me at all.

Richard is the top man for intergas.

What sort of set up have you got with it ?

I'm no longer looking at Intergas. But when I was, I wanted to know how to do PDHW with two CH zones with weather compensation but not OT on an open vent boiler. We've now decided to go with Alpha using a local expert. This year really is the year!
