It is available on the US Amazon site but not the UK Amazon site. That makes me think that it might not be legal in the UK (for safety reasons), I am only guessing though.
Most of the positive reviews seem to be Vine reviews.
In the US it is $99, over here it would probably be about £105 (inc VAT).

I saw that, or something like it from kickstarter, pop up in my feed last week.
I can see it being similar to my bosch 12v recip saw, which is only useful for certain light duty cutting.
But I wonder in that format and size, if the internal mechanism is tough enough to cope with the loads it will endure.

Doubt you could bend a jigsaw blade backwards they are rigid in that direction.

I phrased my post badly.
I didn't mean that the blade would deform backwards. I was suggesting that without the guide wheel, there would be pressure to push the blade backwards. That will then put pressure on the fixing mechanism and, additionally, increase the likelihood of the blade deviating/bending to the left or right.
Again, I don't think it would legal in the UK or EU. That said, I am only guessing.

More of a handy little saw that has limited uses I think.
Legality has never stopped us using handy tools, after all we can use recipricating saws which are very similar.
