Starmer's learning...

And fyi secondary legislation can only be reversed by a court through judicial review and only it is deemed unlawful...

Not so.

Any Statutory Instrument can remove or amend provisions in earlier SIs.

Any government can repeal an Act which enabled secondary legislation, and when it does all of the relevant SIs disappear. That needs to be done very carefully, as all of a sudden there may be no rules in vital areas.

I suspect he's trying to tie us to following the EU rules in perpetuity regardless of the future government, which is just anti-democratic.
He's trying to set an irreversible path towards rejoining the EU

No government can, in any way, or to the slightest extent, bind future ones.

The actual country should be the ones to decide what workers they want based on need, not some bureaucracy telling us we must take them.

Freedom of movement was never "some bureaucracy telling us we must take them".

It was simply if you were a plumber in Penzance you could go and become a plumber in Peterborough, or Paris, or Pisa. And vice-versa.

It was simply Norman Tebbit's dad pedalling his bicycle across borders into other countries.

Those that said they were going to leave the U.K. after the Brexit vote have been proved to be liars.
It's not a lie to not achieve your ambition.
It's only a lie if you say you intend to do something but have no intention of doing it.
If I say I'm going to run a mile for charity, but something prevents me from doing so, it wasn't a lie. it's an unfulfilled desire or aspiration.
Any reasonably intelligent person can differentiate between a lie and an unfulfilled aspiration.

OMG - who did that on here - so they said they would leave and then never did. So that now all they do is just hang around here and cry and moan about everything. What was the reason they did not leave - did the EU have such high standards that they did not meet and so were refused entry.
The reason given why they never left has been fluid throughout the years but yes, they are still here and I suspect you could have hit the nail on the head with the true reason.

Rinse and repeat.

Nope. Where have I said this in an argument in this thread?
"Rinse and repeat" means to repeat a process or action exactly as it was done before, often used to describe repetitive, monotonous tasks or a straightforward, recurring procedure.
Used as a repetitive argument it's usually called the broken record technique.
In your case it's motivated by vindictiveness, and as a "look a squirrel" technique.

Thank you for that explanation. Correct. That’s exactly what I mean when old Nosey just copies and pastes his previous posts, repeatedly, in the same thread. So, show me where I have repeated that action exactly as it was done before.

Would you say "rinse and repeat" to someone, for example, who constantly says Brexit is shìt?

If I could be bothered I'm guessing I could probably find a post by you mentioning it in nearly every thread.
Here's a few:
Still waiting for you to explain your inability to leave this country as well as this forum like you said you were doing in 2019. ;)
The reason given why they never left has been fluid throughout the years but yes, they are still here and I suspect you could have hit the nail on the head with the true reason.
Those that said they were going to leave the U.K. after the Brexit vote have been proved to be liars.
But did you say your goodbyes to this forum, tell us what losers we were for staying in this country and state that you had made your last post and were closing your account on here?
Where? Can you remember who it was?
Didn't someone on here have 'strategy' to leave the U.K. for good with their whole family if Brexit became a reality? Pretty sure I remember them saying they had bought their one-way tickets outta here and had a shipping container to load the whole contents of their house into. I wonder how that strategy turned out? ;)
People lie about all sorts of things. Does that include people that lie about having a container delivered to pack up their whole house, booking their one-way tickets out of the U.K. and leaving the country because the Brexit vote didn’t go their way. Some have even said they had made their last post in this forum, yet 7 years later, they’re still here!
It is according to ellal. All he does is complain about this, complain about that. Not once has he ever made a post without a moan, usually involving Brexit. Moan moan moan, whine whine whine. He never seems to have any 'fun' in his life. I wish he'd just leave this forum like he said he was going to do in 2019.
And that's just a fraction of those I pulled up, based one one word search. There's hundreds more that I haven't included.
Nor have I done any other searches on other words or phrases.

Your vindictiveness is eating away at you from inside.

Yep, same old same old...

mottie gets shown up as always and returns to his old tired out mo..

He is of course just an aged stunted bully, but now apparently with failing eyesight to boot...

He'll be put out to pasture soon, which is a shame as I'd like him to witness the great day when brexit gets reversed :)
