Like Brexit.Fortunately almost anything done today, can be undone tomorrow with the right will.

It's not a lie to not achieve your ambition. Those that said they were going to leave the U.K. after the Brexit vote have been proved to be liars.
The reason given why they never left has been fluid throughout the years but yes, they are still here and I suspect you could have hit the nail on the head with the true reason.OMG - who did that on here - so they said they would leave and then never did. So that now all they do is just hang around here and cry and moan about everything. What was the reason they did not leave - did the EU have such high standards that they did not meet and so were refused entry.

Nope. That is not under the control of the government of the day. You probably need to get over it and move on.Like Brexit.

It is under the control of the Government of the day to apply to rejoin the EU.Nope. That is not under the control of the government of the day. You probably need to get over it and move on.
Rinse and repeat. The reason given why they never left has been fluid throughout the years but yes, they are still here and I suspect you could have hit the nail on the head with the true reason.
To all you quitters, because I have been finally converted...
After a few days of deliberation following the election, myself and my family have decided that england is no longer for us so I am now a 'quitter'!
We have just booked our one way tickets out of here to my partner's country, along with a cargo container for our belongings...
Timed so that our youngest gets exams done and dusted, and I can get the equivalent of 'settled status' over there before the cut off point..
Along with two elder siblings, england will have lost two medics (one having completed studies and the other...

Nope. Where have I said this in an argument in this thread?Rinse and repeat.

Nope. Where have I said this in an argument in this thread?
Used as a repetitive argument it's usually called the broken record technique."Rinse and repeat" means to repeat a process or action exactly as it was done before, often used to describe repetitive, monotonous tasks or a straightforward, recurring procedure.

If I could be bothered I'm guessing I could probably find a post by you mentioning it in nearly every thread."Rinse and repeat" means to repeat a process or action exactly as it was done before"
Thank you for that explanation. Correct. That’s exactly what I mean when old Nosey just copies and pastes his previous posts, repeatedly, in the same thread. So, show me where I have repeated that action exactly as it was done before.
Would you say "rinse and repeat" to someone, for example, who constantly says Brexit is shìt?
Still waiting for you to explain your inability to leave this country as well as this forum like you said you were doing in 2019.![]()

Those that said they were going to leave the U.K. after the Brexit vote have been proved to be liars.
But did you say your goodbyes to this forum, tell us what losers we were for staying in this country and state that you had made your last post and were closing your account on here?
Where? Can you remember who it was?
Didn't someone on here have 'strategy' to leave the U.K. for good with their whole family if Brexit became a reality? Pretty sure I remember them saying they had bought their one-way tickets outta here and had a shipping container to load the whole contents of their house into.I wonder how that strategy turned out?

People lie about all sorts of things. Does that include people that lie about having a container delivered to pack up their whole house, booking their one-way tickets out of the U.K. and leaving the country because the Brexit vote didn’t go their way. Some have even said they had made their last post in this forum, yet 7 years later, they’re still here!
And that's just a fraction of those I pulled up, based one one word search. There's hundreds more that I haven't included. It is according to ellal. All he does is complain about this, complain about that. Not once has he ever made a post without a moan, usually involving Brexit. Moan moan moan, whine whine whine. He never seems to have any 'fun' in his life. I wish he'd just leave this forum like he said he was going to do in 2019.
Yep, same old same old...Rinse and repeat.
He’s a great cook though and proper gardener.Yep, same old same old...
mottie gets shown up as always and returns to his old tired out mo..
He is of course just an aged stunted bully, but now apparently with failing eyesight to boot...
He'll be put out to pasture soon, which is a shame as I'd like him to witness the great day when brexit gets reversed![]()

and then what will happen? It is under the control of the Government of the day to apply to rejoin the EU.
and then what happen?
