We're selling my mums house and need to get the boiler serviced. It was last serviced in March last year so it’s now overdue. It was installed by the same person who has serviced it for the last 8 years. No problems with him and he seems to do a good job. Has helped my mum out with it on several occasions since it was installed. He is the son of my mums cleaner. Works for British Gas. However, when I check his number on the GSR, it comes up as a company, not BG. He is listed as one of the engineers on that company though. He does put his own name and the company’s name on the service record. Only asking as the buyers solicitor is asking for the boiler service record. Is it ok/legal for someone to use a company's registration number or must they have their own personal GSR registration number?
