You have a warped view of what a patriot is.
A patriot is someone who contributes to society in a positive way, not people like you, Filly and the other traitors who support far right con-artists who's only aim is to get into government to use public office to enrich themselves and screw the tax payer.

Oxymoron alert!

How could anyone have an issue with Ed Davey? Nobody knows or cares what he's in favour of or against, as he has zero chance of ever becoming PM.

This is shaping up into the most important by-election for many years and could redirect the fortunes of both the Labour Party and 'reform' - based on polling if Burnham wins the seat it'll have dramatic consequences for a future GE:

Deltapoll

  • Labour 20%, rising to 28% with Burnham
  • Reform 28%, falling to 27%
  • Conservative 17%, falling to 15%
  • Green 13%, falling to 10%
  • Lib Dem 11%, falling to 8%

More in Common

  • Labour 22%, rising to 30% with Burnham
  • Reform 29%, falling to 27%
  • Conservative 19%, rising to 20%
  • Lib Dem 13%, falling to 11%
  • Green 11%, falling to 7%

Who the hell is saying they will vote for Labour? Have a load of muslims suddenly been shipped in?

sadly I think labour have it - bookies are never far off the mark

main stream medi seem to be unjustly attacking Farage at the moment, twisting his warnings of 'unrest' if our police continue being so racist to him encouraging violence ! BBC are an utter disgrace

The Restore Andy party is doing well.

If 'restore' are taking 7% of the vote then all they'll end up doing is giving AB a better chance of winning the seat.
What's not to like about that?

I can see many voters marking their ballot paper tactically in this one.

possibly the most tactically voted for ever?

I find it fascinating how politics is so 50/50, so balanced between left and right, neither group are particularity more bright or more stupid than the other group, but we are always split so close to that middle line. Scot indy ref, brexit, US elections, most elections anywhere in the free world

what is the underlying factor to this division ?

Half are right, half are wrong. ;)
