Think about it. Someone who pays less in income tax than they receive in benefits... that tax that they pay on all those other things all comes from money that we gave them. So they're still net beneficiaries.

If I give you £10, you spend £8 on stuff you want then give me back £2 then I've definitely lost and you've definitely gained.

Do you mean benefits as in everything the state provides or are you simply referring to welfare benefits.
