My search for a Van has stopped for the time being. I simply can not make my mind up.

I have listened to you all and some really good advice.

Im thinking @Mottie should be my new dad.

My Vauxhall Movano does need a bit of tarting up, but still drives well amd has a well organised storage system. So Im going to keep it for the time being.

My Honda CRV however is showing its age.
I could never work out of a car (Its just not me)
But my mate could. So Im going to give him my car. He can do with it as he wants.
Converts it to a van. The Engine will go on for ever. Or he sells it and buys a little van.

I will buy a SUV Hybrid of some sort. I dont need nothing flash or glamorous.
It needs to be
Reliable
Preferably Japanese
Low mileage
Good on fuel
Smart - I dont want boring
Comfortable
Practical.

Thank God you're keeping us all abreast of latest developments in this wild adventure.

I, for one, cannot sleep at nights til i know how things stand.

A good decision but one thing I can’t get my head around is that all along you have seemed overly concerned about giving your van (and now your car) to your mate. What’s the story there? If he's the one you sub your work out to, why is it okay for him to turn up to a job in a car but not you - is he so poor that he can’t afford a vehicle of his own?

If he make money, I make money and its a situation Im in.

He started working with me at the age of 21. Hes 15 years younger than me.

When I was in Hospital he was always there for me and my family.

The time I was helpless in a hospital bed with tubes sticking out of me. My Dad was burgled while in his bed. My mate was straight round there.

Just one example of what a good person he is
Hes the most loyal person attached to me.

Id rather brand new sign written van.
Id rather her had a brand new sign written van. However with the cocktail of life, thus option isnt available at the moment.

I have listened to you and with what money I do have would be better used or invested in other ways. Then lets see how things pan out.
