Cruise thread.

Yes we did a 15 day in a suite with princess, Italy, Croatia, France, and it cost us 8k, if we went on a balcony it would have been 5K
That would be perfect over 10 days. I can’t take 15 days away from things at the moment.

We have just said, definitely a suite

That’s a given!! We like a drink on holiday, or weekends…
You will honestly love a cruise. I didn't think I would until I tried one, we love them now and can work out cheaper than a normal holiday because of the all inclusive. All food is like what mottie cooks on here.

Asuite in my opinion is the way to go, they are so luxurious and worth every penny.

I’m going to wait until you’re both back and wait for a review. Plenty of pics please.

We don’t mind spending but for 10 days are we looking at change from 10k for a mega cruise or less ?
I put loads of pics on here of my last cruise inc pics of our suite, the ship and destinations etc. I cant remember what I called it.

Can you hint at what that costs please, or pm it.

That sounds perfect
I think we paid around £2600 for the pair of us for the Marella cruise. One week including flights. Balcony cabin and Marella ships are all inclusive, including drinks. We paid an extra £90 each to upgrade to premium brand drinks including coffees in the coffee port. The P&O we are going on in a suite is £4300 ish - one week including flights to Malta but not including drinks - they want between £50-£60 per person per day for the drinks package so £7-800 ish for the week. We're not big drinkers so we won’t have that and anyway, that fare comes with an onboard spend of £320. That will probably cover our drinks bill anyway. Drinks on P&O are not too expensive - about pub prices. The prices of cruises goes up and down depending on demand, time of year and when you book. It’s always cheaper though to book through a cruise specialist (we use IGLU) than it is to book direct with the companies. At the time we booked the P&O cruise, it was about £400 cheaper booking it through IGLU than it was direct with P&O.

I looked at it, but didn’t take note at the time. Bump it up if you get a chance please
