I had to take an elderly relative in for day surgery. The anaesthetist was fantastic, and her headscarf didn’t get in the way.

A few years ago NHS staff were sent to the Philippines to recruit staff, that staff shortage is no longer there and we have stopped the practice. Most have gone back home with that NHS experience under their belt and are now in highly paid health work in their own country. Some still remain. As for the African delegation - how loverly they are to you depends on your nationality if you are white or black yes- loverly if you are Asian - not so much.
