Hello,

Well as you have probably gathered I will be taking the BPEC aptitude test to hopefully get a place at college. Has anyone on here taken this test? What does this aptitude consist of and what format is it in. All replies gratefully recieved.

Regards.

H.

If you spell your name correctly, then you are in

Now is not the time to enter the plumbing/gas industry, hundreds being laid off all over the country :(

Is it that hard now Dave? I thought you just had to know your name.

First of all do you need an interpreter. Answer this question. I woke up this morning and had some corn ---- for breakfast. I then went to the Bus ---- to get to work. Please fill in the dotted lines.

with a hard to remember name like Dave, Dave has obviously done well by remembering his name is Dave.
therefore Dave should have no problem, in applying for nvq2 training

provided you dont want to change your name

Dave didnt remember his name was Dave, it was Mrs Dave who reminded Dave to write Dave at the end of his posting.
Therefor Dave didnt get on the NVQ plumbing as Dave was required at the top of the paper and not Dave at the bottom.

  Sorry Dave only drinking, I mean kidding ;)

Yours faithfully,

DAVE

;)

geez Dave
Dave doesnt need that level of aggro.
Dave has enough problems with being Dave without having to put up with questions concerning his Dave validity.
Dave is content I hope with being Dave.

just for the record, Dave made me post this   and he'd been drinking

Filling in those words is easy!

A couple of years ago the local college stoped handing out application forms when it reached 3200 forms.

That was for 163 places on the NVQ 2 courses! But then thats the College of NW London which is seen as the best in the UK.

Even so there are not enough jobs for all the people they turn out with Technical Certificates ( rather than the proper NVQ which includes practical asessments in the work place! )

I dont see why you feel that you have to come on here for the first time, post to a year old thread and then state what most professionals will not agree with.

You seem to be involved in training people on these six week "be a plumber" courses!

Look here. I'm a qualified plumber who earns over £35k per annum - as a secondary school maths teacher ;)

I think he's being sarcastic and quoting from training centre's online literature.
