10,000th post

This is my 10,000th post. In the three years I've been here, members have been and gone, I've helped hundreds of DIYers, I might have saved a few lives, I feel all warm inside, and I feel like a celebration! But I see nobody celebrated when Softus and Breezer achieved their 10,000th. I'm off to the pub tommorrow. Feel free to join me in The Sun, Doncaster

I have made about 20 posts in the last year. Without being facetious, I genuinely have had better things to do... (3 jobs!)

But I did top 1000 posts in my first year, and I do still visit every day to read and catch up...

And JohnD, I did have a go at having a life earlier this year, got a girlfriend, seriously ****ed off my boss cos she was a member of staff, then got her pregnant. Then it all went a bit wrong when she lost the baby and got sent to prison for 3 month (this was my "appointments" in Staffordshire a while ago - visiting her at Drake Hall prison). She got released on tag for 3 month, got ****ed off with not being able to go out, took it all out on me, and I left her. No relationship is worth that much stress.

The quiet life for me now I think.
