britony combi 80 hot water problem

I would suggest it's a blocked DHW heat exchanger... Get it flushed or best bet is a replacement.

    Primatic Cylinder Fault

Drain; refill and bleed off whilst your system is filling... You should only need to drain through your hot tap again; just so you can break the air trap and allow the ch to fill again.

    Bread Pudding

 Oh dear  If this has thermostatic valves you'll probably find some of the goo left behind wedged in the valve seating of the thermostat.

    Cool Rad

Radiator on Combi System - HELP

The gap should be fine as it's only 10mm you'll probably be able to pull the pipes; or get yourself a pair of rad tail extensions. Simply turn off both the valves on the rad you will be removing; use a flat tray like a decorators tray, or my fav a cat litter tray (They hold more water) and...

    BIASI 24S COMBI BOILER PROBLEM

Errrm... No; it's not normal  Check the voltages coming out of the clock onto the switch live; does this happen when you run hot water taps; or is it happening all the time?

    combi vs hot water cylinder

I cannot really see the point of keeping the hw cylinder and then fitting a combi as you're having a combi to save on the keeping a huge heat bank of water ready and then adding a combi which will fire on high to heat the taps in the kitchen; kinda cancels one-another out. With the amount of...

    British Gas trainees and wages

The wages go up per year; the current rate is varied on the current pay structure; when qualified you go onto an "improver" rate and when they say you're good enough; you finally get onto an Engineer's salary - Well that's what it was like when I done mine with them 4/5 year's ago... You find...

AArrrghh yet more radiator problems but please help!!

I'll take your word for it guys on the plastic pipe flushing - Never tried it myself and don't know anyone that has; but then again - I've only been out on my own in the industry for 3 years now; and most is in boiler specific repairs; I suppose as long as the stuff is suitable for heating...
