Does Anyone Know Anything About Home Services Direct?

Appreciate this thread is about working for them, but here is my review on Home Services Ltd as a customer:

DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I booked an appointment for 23 Dec and they did not show. I called twice to chase and only on the second call did they inform me, "the plumber has decided to sign off for the day and we don't have anyone else we can send round". Being the day before Christmas Eve, the next available slot was 6 days later. No discount on the extortionate £45 per half hour was offered. Needless to say I will not be using them. DO NOT TRUST THESE TIME WASTERS.

As a customer this is completely our experience of your company. Time waster,only one extremely expensive replacement item with the guy who came out. No support when problem wasn’t fixed, will end up having to get someone else out to do so the job and pay again. You are complete con artists. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Says a lot that there is nowhere public to review your services!

With regards to wage payments we pay out on a two week turn around on receipt of the green copy of our invoice. As per our contract we do hold a job if there is a complaint from the customer and I don't feel this is unfair practice.

If you didn't agree with the way we operate why did you work for us on two occasions prior to your 2010 post and apply again in September 2014?

Erm.. how did you come across the firm?

When I visit their website there is only one page. That would be sufficient for me to look elsewhere.

I have no idea if you are a genuine customer, and frankly I don't care, being charitable, I do not understand why you couldn't find the trust pilot link that if found at the top of my google search.

Did you use one of those dodgy websites that pretend to check the trader or who suggest that the company is rated by people?
