Current "Heatwave"

I am the only one in our workshop that has a fan, I was fine sitting there wiring a panel while the other lads were sweating.
As soon as I step away from my bench the air becomes stifling.

Yet employers still seem to fail to provide for hot days, not even some stand fans.
Good job I have my own.

Mind you, I went to Aldi last night - the whole store was lovely and cool - next time I'll take a book and hide behind a pallet lol

Im off to my neices wedding today in Canterbury.

Typical, lots of beautiful sunshine over the last few weeks. Forecast today rain + 100% cloud :(

1963 I remember it well, the sea froze, I spent the winter wearing a home knitted balaclava, lived in a prefab, bloody paradise
