What a fight! Completely dominated Wilder, ref had to step in and stop him inflicting more punishment when his corner chucked the towel in - he had blood coming out of every orifice - bit concerned with blood coming out of his ear. Fury was actually licking the blood off of him at one point. Haven’t seen such a scrap for years. The Gypsy King rules! (y)

Bit of a bromance going on there, they seemed to like hugging each other a lot. Not that I say that to either of their faces you understand.

He won the first fight with deontay.
It was the first time a gypsy ever was robbed.

oops - not 370 but 270 odd pounds, around 3 bags of cement, if he Furiously caught you with only 33% of his weight behind the punch - A bag of cement 'side yer head' concentrated on the area of gloved impact - Like as not turn your brain to American Pie filling !!

Wilder only has one weapon and that's his straight right and because Tyson was able to use his weight advantage to lean on him and tie up his right hand he could work away at him. Brilliant strategic fight from Tyson as always and superior ring IQ. He has a lot to be proud of and I'm sorry to hear that he suffers from mental health issues over the course of his career. He's clearly in a good place now though and deserves all the admiration and respect. The ref had to pull the fight because Wilder was hemorrhaging from the ear. That's a really nasty and potentially life threatening injury if allowed to get worse, so he was right to throw in the towel.

You obviously have not watched the great fighters at work.
These clowns, we have nowadays are just entertainment for those who don't know any better

I did say "I haven’t seen such a scrap in years". You obviously book yourself as a bit of an expert fight reporter. Can you show us any links to professional commentators/reporters that agree with your view?

I'll admit I know little about the technicalities of boxing, but heavy weight boxing always seem a bit sluggardly to me, I prefer the lower weights. Although a small part of me doesn't really agree with people hitting each other (what a wuss)

Apparently the best fighters were from the 1930s to the 1980's.
It is interesting that the Americans referred to Britain as the land of the horizontal heavyweight as there hadn't been a British heavyweight champion for a 100 years until Lennox Lewis who was a genuine champion.
When Frank Bruno won a world boxing title the whole thing became a bit of a farce.
