No canned/bottled booze left on the shelves but plenty of wine.
Moi aussi. I only ever drink alcohol at weekends. I reckon I could give it neck if I had to.only allowed 3 of each though, I could live with that if the pubs weren't shut.
I don't drink anymore, gave it up when had to get up for work at silly o'clock. I do feel sorry for people who will miss the fun of it with their mates but, living near some very busy pubs with badly behaved kids who drink there, I am looking forward to a few weeks off the endless music, fights, puke and broken glass...only allowed 3 of each though, I could live with that if the pubs weren't shut.

Lol. The mother-in-Law fancied some pearl barley last week as she hadn’t had it for years! Oh, and my mum fancied a crab last week too. Currently pestering me for some frozen runner beans. I told her exactly the same as you told yours. I’ve also told her to cancel her cleaning lady from now on.Well, after my shopping efforts for father in law, he still won't keep going to tesco, despite having nothing in every day this week. He's going every single day now. When asked why he went yesterday, his reply was "I wanted Lemon sherberts". The man has a stash of about 16 bags of those and other boiled sweets...
We've now told him that after Sunday, we are no longer going around to visit, just drop off things at his door if he needs them. Told him the official stance was the vulnerable and elderly to self-isolate, but pointed out that actually, it's him that's putting us at risk by his sudden need to go shopping every day......
nothing i have experienced in my lifetime.
Bought bread from bakers and fish from fishmongers today. Both had plenty in and no queues. Use your knuckles for pressing buttons or touch screens. Went to Sainsbury's today on my scooter but kept my full face helmet on and was wearing disposable gloves.Sainsburys tonight. No milk no bread not much beer.
Just a thought. Using the touch screens on way out, I felt they should have been spraying them after each use. Also spray the trolleys before you take hold.
I wish they would spare a thought for those who require a special diet cos they are stripping the shelves bare of gluten free products. I ordered my normal weekly shop online but not one GF product was delivered and of course there are no substitute itemsEvery night the shelves get filled again , it's only the totally selfish idiots that are causing this problem and it's right across the age spectrum.
Some people are stupid...No cure for that either.am taking this seriously - are you?
Some of my work colleagues are not, they thinks its a fuss about nothing and will blow over.
I expect the pub down the road will still be open tonight, full of the regulars but with the blinds down.
And which bit of.....avoid public tranaport""?
