Unlike the case where I learned last week that a husband of a friend of ours who had been in hospital for many months undergoing treatment contracted the 'virus' there, and the treatment was stopped because of the possible 'complications'...

In 'normal times' the prognosis with regular treatment was for an extra 2-3 years of life...

The funeral which we can't attend is next week.
