Has anyone ever seen a "3-gang" blank plate? I haven't,and my searches only turn up irrelevant US things.

Thanks. That's an interesting approach which hadn't occurred to me.
As a secondary question (and I fear I know the answer to this one), what about 3-gang surface boxes/patresses >30mm deep?

Indeed, you're pretty much stuck with MK and their offering is only 30mm.
