i see sitting on the fence and doing noting has brougth dead in South Africa, it would not condem Mugabe, but South Africa's own people have had enough of his fleeing pople so are now doing Mugabe's job for him (killing the poor & starving.) who said Africa is not a basket case [/b]

People just need to get used to the fact that this is the way its done in Africa. Africa is a hard, corrupt, violent place. It is the nature of the indigenous population.
Every now and again, along comes an African 'freedom fighter' who wants to liberate his people. But today's freedom fighter usually turns into tomorrow's dictator. Its the African way.
Nobody, not even liberal Guardian readers, will ever change the situation.Look at how China and India are turning themseves around. This will never happen in Africa - different people.
