Are they going to choose the 2 in from those that are already here or are there going to be 2 extra coming in? If so, who will choose them and how will they physically travel here? Maybe they’ll let them load 72 on the dinghy, 2 with golden tickets, instead of just 70?

The ones chosen to come here have been judged to have a good case for asylum in UK.
If they've been adjudged to have a good case by UK officials, it shows that the process of assessing asylum claims in France is easily achieved. So there is no excuse for not processing all asylum claims while the asylum seekers are in France.
Therefore there is a real alternative to the risk of crossing the channel on an inflatable boat.
To refuse to consider such an option means the only possible conclusion is that UK government prefers the asylum seekers to seek entry by illegal means, so they have a reason to detain and deport them, for those that manage to arrive here.
