Abbreviations used in postings

Having read a few posts now I am still struggling with abbreviations - please list some that you use and what they mean IAMO IIRC are two that I cant work out.

IU have o idea what IAMO stands for though, and neither does that website.

i'm not a fan of abbreviations but understand their practical use where time or typing space is limited.

after all we use them all the time in our language, such as at the beginning of this paragraph ("i'm").

All my text messages are sent in The Queens English with proper grammar and punctation [shame my post aren't the same]. It might take me longer but it saves the reply coming back "wht th fck?"
