We havent even discovered all the species on our own planet roughly 18,000 new species are discovered every year.
And people saying there isnt anything out there in the vastness of space .
There is plenty of mentions of alien visitors in historical texts, medieval art contains drawings of ufo`s within them
More stars than there is grains of sand on this planet ,simple probability says without a doubt there is life out there

I suppose the real question is are aliens likely to be in human form….which is how they are usually depicted.

It seems highly likely that there must be extra terrestrial beings but whether they could visit Earth is another thing…..some of planets in our galaxy are many light years away
