Whichever way you want to twist it ..Boris came into power because of the antics of remoaners scheming which backfired for people trying to undermine the ref result...
Or by his misguided rhetoric and blatant lies and exploitation of nebulous but nonsensical concepts.

Take back control - make America great again. Both sentiments suggest that something has been lost and needs resolving. Thus the external threat has been created - populism by another name.

Boris came about because of remoaners trying to dodge a democratic ref result...So unimportant you lot spent years gagging for another...Whatever bolox you think brexit is...That is democracy in action.

Take back control...Indeed..All been discussed...voted on...If brexit turns to ratsht then we will have another election.
NOT waffle that says refs matter only when remoaners win

Another - short for 6 million was not enough

This was the rise of Nazisim. You know, the thing our fathers and grandfathers died fighting.

How can anybody support then and their actions?

A Jewish reporter at the scene was insulted with anti-Semitic questions and comments live on air.

This could well be the downfall of America. The world is watching.

This is the point. Many people think atrocities of the past can't happen again. How wrong they are. Hard fought for freedoms can easily be eroded if society isn't careful. And remember, certain atrocities started quite/very innocently (on the surface) with society of the time thinking 'yes this minor change has happened but no real harm done.' Fast forward x months/years after numerous minor changes and before you know where you are ...

This holds true across aspects such as race, religion, sexuality, gender. We're seeing countries ban LGBT relationships. Now, if you don't agree with LGBT relationships you think 'so what?' However, wait until something's banned that affects you or your loved ones and suddenly you'd start to think differently.

Thin edge of the wedge and all that ...

There is always going to be a "" frontier"" of people pushing a cause and demanding change on many fronts.

And, whilst people like this point being made or not, the slow to react actions of the authorities last night at CH wouldn't have been quite as slow had this been a group of black Americans. It is being reported that some of those with pictures taken inside CH still haven't been arrested. Funny that ...

This the scene that greeted the BLM protesters, who were not indicating an actual threat to Congress.
The Trump supporters were armed and had stated their intention to storm the building - just a few Congress Police on duty.

And another one ...

Mick Mulvaney, who previously served as President Donald Trump's chief of staff, told CNBC's "Squawk Box" Thursday he is resigning from his current role as special envoy to Northern Ireland following the assault on the Capitol by pro-Trump protestors.

A guy on CNN just been saying the authorities learned lessons from that approach and were trying a softly softly tactic e.g. welcoming the protestors to the steps etc.

Yeah, I'll wait to see the softly softly approach being used at the next predominantly black attended protest. This pic is so true ...

The first British to settle in the northern areas were peaceful, going there to set up a new colony. They actually welcomed helped from natives originally, there were some relationships between British and natives. The natives also helped them when they struggled with food, and introduced them to pumpkins - the place was covered in them but the starving Brits didn't realise they could be eaten. But things went bad later.

The south couldn't be more different - business minded people went there to make money.

Obviously more complex than that, but these were the core ideas I learned when studying early American history.
Yes like most societies they would have welcomed a small amount of inward immigration, but we kept coming in bigger and bigger numbers, and encroaching further and further into their land, there come a point when they started objecting. And as I am sure you will agree objecting to large sale immigration is basically racism, so we had no other opportunity but to take over fully

A few hundred years later and it is all happening again...

Since you need it explaining.
What break-up of the UK was Blair responsible for?
He granted caused the building of Scottish and Welsh parliaments - now we see the demands for independance referendums, I'm pretty certain it will happen - probably in the next 10 to 15 years. Part 1 of the break-up is probably underway with Northern Ireland having to follow EU rules and a customs barrier between England/Scotland/Wales in the Irish sea.
The referendum was in 2016, 9 years after Blair's premiership. How was he responsible? He has spoken out against BREXIT.
Had Blair's government put in place the same restrictions of migration from the new 8 EU countries as did the rest of the old 20 then the UK would not have seen much immigration from those countries P155ing off the old (and not so old) whingers in the UK. Those whingers gave the likes of Farage the support to force the referendum.
