I have a Citroen Xsara 1.4i hatcbback which i purchased new in March 2000, ie W reg.
It has had a full service every February although i only drive approx.3500 miles per year, present mileage 22400.
My question is... do I really need a full service each year due to my low mileage ?
I am a pensioner so I am always looking for ways to save money, but not at the expense of creating later problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Dennis

it needs oil+ filter each year .......moreso cuz of the low miles........but the MOT should pick up brake /steering performance etc. Just my opinion

definately the oil and filter as suggested,it pays to take it for a run though especially to stop the brakes rusting up

Thank you all for your input. Yes Libby i do declare to insurance that I do less than 4000 miles, not sure I get a discount though. I think I will let my local garage continue with it's normal annual service.

( Better to be safe than sorry )

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL
