Your comparison was nonsense. You compared the achievements of one team with the accumulated achievements of a whole group of other teams.
My analogy reflected that nonsensical comparison of yours.

I then explained the different variables you needed to take into account, and pointed out that it cannot be as black and white as you proposed it was.
So yes Ferrari is the most successful F1 team ever. But the Italians as a nation are not.
My point is also made clearer by the fact that Renault, Mercedes , red bull etc all have their main bases situated in the UK.
Anyway we are getting off topic of either congratulating Hamilton, or damning him

So in a discussion about F1 teams being successful, you want to widen the discussion about something, anything else to justify your comparison?
How do you judge the success of a nation?
Ferrari are still the most successful F1 team, and they're still Italian.

Or are you asking me if I think all things built with slave labour in the past are poor quality products? It was the way you worded it, the Italians aren't the most successful in F1, the Brits are, however Ferrari are the most successful single F1 team for various reasons, mostly that they have been in the sport for so long.
