Axel Rudakubana - living with parents or not?

The lawyer is supposed to be Keir Starmer. And they are arguing that this is one of the reasons Starmer has wanted to stop information getting out. It feeds into their belief that it is all a massive cover up.
Is that true ? Where did you get the information

Ok on a flight home tonight was reading through a few more articles.

His father was clearly negligent and should be reprimanded without question, also Prevent have a considerable part to blame here. If you review their referral procedure as there were multiple referrals.

From HO's prevent portal:
  • Handling Multiple Referrals:
    • When an individual is the subject of multiple referrals, each referral is documented and reviewed to identify any new or escalating concerns.
    • The accumulation of multiple referrals may indicate an increased or ongoing risk, prompting the Channel panel to reassess the individual's case.
    • The panel may decide to intensify the support measures, involve additional agencies, or, if necessary, escalate the case to higher authorities for further action.
Clearly nothing happened to which you can only deduce whoever reviewed these cases were negligent. Lets not comment about how these departments are run..

I hope the enquiry follows this up, sorry but both the Father and Prevent are responsible here. Neighbours also, although i believe they had already escalated concern.

'One image shows a cluttered living room, which police believe Rudakubana had been using as his bedroom. Knives, arrows and chemical equipment were found inside the house, with Amazon boxes stacked in the middle of the room.'

Quoted from the BBC article above.

How on earth did they not see the weapons in their own house? Why did they not get rid of them? Were they barricaded in one part and he in the other?

Do you have kids?

Agree, i don't know how he hasn't been charged yet perhaps they have been focusing on that lowlife first, and treating this as a separate parallel case.. but i know what you mean, there's not much in my house that someone else could get away with stashing without me being aware.

The parents are living in a safe house and judging by the photo of the bunk beds in a bedroom, I assume there is at least one more child, also with them in the safe house? On that proviso, I think it is unlikely anything will happen to them regards the law, that's how our country is now, lax.

The Standard says 'a machete' and 'a quantity of bottles with matches attached to the necks were also found in the living room' and the living room appears to have become his bedroom. I don't believe these parents did not see or know about any of this in their home. If they had have called Prevent or the Police at this point, intervention would have been possible.

There were three referrals to Prevent, and the police, mental health services and social services were all involved. But what should have been done. What powers does the state have. The only thing I can think of is that he should have been sectioned.

No it's not true, as far as I know. I was just pointing out the latest right wing conspiracy theory. It's all over the Telegraph comments section.
With respect, I think you are being disingenuous on this. It cannot be substantiated with evidence either way aka it cannot be confirmed nor denied at this point.

Typical of a right wing conspiracist.

It cannot be substantiated with evidence either way aka it cannot be confirmed nor denied at this point
WRONG

What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence

In other words you can’t just make up any old sh1t you like.
