Try this one for stupidity - and have a look at the court result

And for those with a good head for heights (that's me out!) watch this one - take a look from 6 minutes onwards.

I have never had a problem with heights. My worry would be with the condition of the 'external rungs' at the top. If one should come away from the structure, there is very little else to stop the downward momentum.

The only thing I've found that stops the downward momentum is ... the ground (and it's very good at it!)

Whilst not a guarantee, these guys are using three points of contact at all times, with his hands on two rungs, he can feel if one is shaky before moving on.

Is that in Sale? No, we're in Gatley.

Then you're not in Cheshire, you're in stockport!

No, we're in Cheshire. Stockport is in Cheshire as well.

Actually, you are in Cheshire, but not in Stockport.

The Post Town is Cheadle. Any SK8 postcode is Cheadle, Cheshire, not Stockport, Cheshire.

Anal, I know.... ;)

I can live with that. We seem to pay our council tax to Stockport, though.

Whatever happened to 'Greater Manchester'?

It has never existed, except as a figment of the imagination of the government who thought they had invented it in 1974. Please see my link to a map nine posts ago.

Same with all this West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Cleveland and Humberside claptrap. The county is Yorkshire, and it is divided into North, West and East Ridings. I think these southerners thought it all up because they were jealous that Yorkshire is so much bigger than any of their puny little counties.

Edit: Sorry, I can't count.
