Anyone think the Mini they are recycling looks brand new? I mean, it is an older model, but in the video it looks a brannie. Plus, the fluids they are draining are all fresh and clean, as are the underbody panels, engine block, etc..

The engines in the beginning of the film are as clean as mine and the tyres look new, on the cars in the workshop if not the ones in the yard.

It's a demo film made with new cars. Look how slow the throughput is. Not a production facility. The out-of-date models shows the film age. Coolant contained blue antifreeze. Some of the vehicles had unused-brake disks, though I also saw some used ones.

The ones we saw actually being cut up and crushed at the end were much older. Strange that they crushed the shells with seats, glass and plastic trim still fitted.

Interesting to see Borat working there.

They are all a lot newer than most of the cars in the 2nd hand salerooms around me.

At 18.21. Nice to see that the mullet haircut still lives on in Germany. :D
